Train Robbers, Mustaches, Bobbleheads, Oh My: Cleburne Railroaders Announce 2021 Promotional Schedule

CLEBURNE, Texas (April 20, 2021) – Bobbleheads. Train Robbers. Mustaches. Dogs. The 2021 Cleburne Railroaders promotional schedule has a little bit of everything we love, with 56 games jam-packed full of giveaways and spectacles that will make this summer at The Depot more memorable than ever before.

The schedule is highlighted by several promos that will make their Railroaders debut in 2021. On Saturday, July 31, the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a Tris Speaker vintage bobblehead, the first bobblehead giveaway in Railroaders franchise history. The Railroaders offer many other giveaways throughout the year, including a poster series illustrated by local artists.

The Railroaders pay homage to a wild period of Texas history populated by train robbers who made a name for themselves with their criminal exploits via the introduction of Ballpark Bandits, to be held every Saturday home game. After all, you can’t have a ballpark full of trains without a few ne’er-do-wells running around looking to cause trouble. Fans are encouraged to bring these criminals to justice.

Wednesdays are all about Texas sports, shining a light on some of our other favorite Texas teams and local sports. The schedule features Dallas Jackals Rugby, Fort Worth Vaqueros Soccer, Rodeo Extravaganza, and Live Wrestling, with other nights dedicated to Mexican baseball and mascot competitions. Wednesday, August 18 sets sports aside in favor of Bill, as the Railroaders celebrate all those with the iconic first name through a series of on-field recognitions and prizes. Bills, this is your day.

Canines will also make their first appearance at The Depot in 2021, as the Railroaders invite you to Doggos at The Depot on Tuesday home games. Purchase a Tuesday night ticket and take your furry friend with you for a fun evening at the ballpark.

Sunday home games are now Lone Star Legacy nights, honoring the legendary teams of Texas baseball past with specialty uniforms to complete the look. The first of these nights falls on Sunday, May 23, as the Railroaders feature the legend of Shootin’ Irons.

One promotion that fans will recognize comes on Friday nights, as the Railroaders partner with La Moderna to present a pre-game concert series and postgame fireworks. A record-setting 10 fireworks shows highlight the regular season schedule, including three nights in a row over the weekend of July 4.

On Thursdays, the Railroaders send fans back to school with the introduction of College Nights, honoring several local colleges and universities with t-shirt giveaways and prizes that showcase your school spirit.

The Railroaders will also continue to offer pre-game autographs on the concourse, as well as the ability for kids to run the bases after the game.

Single-game tickets for all Railroaders 2021 home games will go on sale later this week. Full and half season ticket packages, as well as group packages, are currently available.
