Railroaders Announce Pregame Concert Series LIneup
CLEBURNE, Tex. (May 24, 2025) – The Cleburne Railroaders, in partnership with State Fair Records, announced Monday the lineup for the Friday night pregame concert series presented by La Moderna. The artist schedule is as follows:
June 4 - Clifffs
Based out of Dallas, punk rock group Clifffs is composed of frontman John Dufilho, Andy Lester on bass and vocals, and drummer Bill Spellman. Their newest album, ‘Panic Attack’, can be found HERE.
June 18 - Squeezebox Bandits - BUY TICKETS
Playing “Honkytonk country with a Texmex flavor,” Squeezebox Bandits are winners of Best Texas Music by the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards. Their two albums, ‘Clear as Day’ and ‘Sounds of Texas’ can be found HERE.
July 2 - Billy Law - BUY TICKETS
After a decade of playing dusty dives and rowdy honky tonks as the bassist for the nationally acclaimed outlaw country garage rock outfit Ottoman Turks, Billy law is set to release his debut solo album. A far cry from Ottoman Turks’ raucous rock and roll sound, “Alone Somewhere” is a moody, introspective dive into what it is to grow up. Though a much more delicate piece of work than anything Turks has released, Alone Somewhere is still largely informed by rough and tumble experiences.
July 16 - Reveler's Hall Band - BUY TICKETS
The Revelers Hall Band plays under the direction of Kevin Butler (who is also the band’s sousaphone player) and features Philip Joseph on trombone, Alcedrick Todd on trumpet, Daniel Porter on piano and Christian Levens on drums. In addition to the five core members, there is also a full roster of musicians who rotate in to perform with the ensemble. Their music can be found HERE.
July 30 - Chris Norwood - BUY TICKETS
After the successful release of his debut album “Longshot” (released on State Fair Records), Chris J Norwood spent his time working the North Texas Americana music scene, playing shows, and writing for a new album. In 2019 he co-founded the band Texicana. In their short time Texicana has already garnered buzz and accolades winning Best New Act AND Best Americana/Folk Act at the 2020 Central Track Music Honors. Their debut EP “No Good Reason” is out now. Currently, Chris is in the studio finishing his self-produced soph0more album set to be released early 2021.
August 20 - 40 Acre Mule - BUY TICKETS
40 Acre Mule features J. Isaiah Evans on guitar and vocals, Robert Anderson on drums, Tim Cooper on bass, Chris Evetts on baritone sax and percussion, and John Pedigo on guitar and vocals. The group has built their own unique sound by blending vintage Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Soul and just a touch of Country. Their music, including their latest album Goodnight & Good Luck, can be found HERE.
September 3 - Pedigo’s Magic Pilsner - BUY TICKETS
It’s a rare inspiration to listen to a man that’s both done it all and is far from being done; at the top of his game but with new adventures on the way. John Pedigo is undoubtedly that man, the Magic Pilsner is undoubtedly that band. Consistently delivering complex emotion and lyricality over catchy, memorable music – with a joke or two thrown in for good measure – is no mean feat, yet that’s stock in trade for John Pedigo.
Each performance begins at 6:00 PM prior to a 7:06 PM first pitch, with entry to the concert included in the purchase of a game ticket for that night. Each Friday night will also serve as fireworks night at The Depot, following the conclusion of the contest.
