Railroaders and Milkmen Washed Away

CLEBURNE, Texas (Aug. 18, 2021) – Due to consistent rain throughout the evening, game two of the series between the Cleburne Railroaders and Milwaukee Milkmen was postponed on Wednesday night. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday evening beginning at 5:00 PM, with game two to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

All purchased tickets for Wednesday’s game will be valid for Thursday’s contest.

This is Cleburne’s second rainout of the 2021 season and the first at home. The other took place in Geneva, Illinois on July 10 against the Kane County Cougars.

Left-hander Michael Gunn (4-4, 4.96) is still projected to start game one of the doubleheader tomorrow for Cleburne, while Milwaukee counters with righty Ryan Zimmerman (8-5, 3.77). Then in the nightcap Cleburne goes with right-hander Jalen Evans (1-1, 6.23), while Milwaukee counters with fellow righty Myles Smith (12-3, 3.11).
