Milwaukee (26-19) got all the offense they would need in the bottom of the first inning on back-to-back home runs from Logan Trowbridge and Adam Brett Walker. Walker would later add a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth, his league-leading 20th and 21st home runs of the season.

The Milkmen got their final run of the night in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single from Anibal Sierra.

All the scoring came against Cleburne starter Michael Gunn (2-3), who was tagged for six runs in six innings of work, allowing seven hits while striking out two and walking three. Landon Holifield and Taylor Wright each delivered a scoreless inning in relief out of the Railroaders bullpen.

The Railroaders continue the road trip with a three-game series against the Kane County Cougars beginning on Friday night. First pitch of the series opener is scheduled for 6:30 PM. Cleburne starts left-hander Austin Fairchild (2-3, 4.50), while Kane County counters with right-hander Ben Allison (2-0, 6.23).
